What to Expect
Initial Meeting
First, we’ll meet by phone or in-person. During this meeting, we’ll get to know your child. We’ll talk about your child’s background – medical history, what has been done before, what’s happening now, what your insurance covers, when you’re available, and what services are needed. After this meeting, we’ll send you some forms to complete
Insurance
Second, we’ll work with your insurance company to make sure it covers therapy. Creekside has a list of providers we work with so you don’t have to make that phone call. We’ll talk with them and give you the details: what’s covered by insurance, what portion you’ll need to cover, and any other information you may need to get started.
First Visit
We’ll plan a time for your child to come in for an assessment. It’ll take about two hours, and we’ll work with your schedule.
Treatment Plan
Based on the assessment, we’ll create a care plan specifically for your child. We’ll set goals, strategies, and objectives and – most importantly – we’ll go over it with you and get your approval. Once the plan is finalized, we’ll share it with your insurance company and let you know when to expect a response.
Finally, we’ll reach out to you to schedule your child’s first session.

How do I know if my insurance covers therapy services?
Creekside Autism Center has knowledgeable and experienced staff who will call your insurance company and check coverage before you are scheduled so you can make an informed decision about any out-of-pocket expenses.
What are your hours of operation?
Our clinic is staffed from 9am-5:30pm on weekdays. Half-day programs run in the morning from 9am-1pm and in the afternoon from 1pm-5:30pm. Full day programs run from 9am-4:45pm.
What if I am unsure if my child needs ABA therapy?
Creekside provides a couple of options for parents who are unsure about their children’s needs.
If you would like to speak with a therapist, you can request a free consultation. A free consultation consists of a 15-20 minute phone call where you can talk with one of our therapists about your concerns without committing to a full evaluation. The therapist will ask questions about your child’s development, address any concerns you may have, and provide recommendations for your child.
If you prefer, you can complete our free assessment tool online. It only takes a few minutes and the results will be shown to you instantly. Your child’s assessment can ease your mind or let you know if it’s time to consider therapy.
What ages of clients do you see?
Our early intervention program focuses on children aged 2-7 years old. We also offer social skills groups throughout the year for children from ages 5-10 yrs old. We plan to offer social skills groups for older kids in the near future.
How do I pay for services?
Creekside Autism Center accepts all major credit cards, checks, and cash.
Do you offer screenings?
We offer consultations via phone or in-person.
